Sponge pads designed to cushion and support cabochon polishing. These 1/8" thick pads prevent flat spots from forming during the smoothing and polishing process. Simply place them under diamond smoothing discs, Tech-11 polishing pads, or final polishing pads for optimal results.
Each pad features 3M pressure-sensitive adhesive backing that bonds securely to backing plates and master laps without additional fasteners. The 6" and 8" sizes include a convenient 1/2" arbor hole for easy mounting on standard equipment.
